Printable ring sizer

Print this page with scaling set to 100% or actual size, then measure the 60 mm bar with a ruler: if it is not exactly 60 mm, your printer has scaled the page. Lay a ring that fits on the circles and pick the one whose outline sits just inside the ring. Or cut out the strip, cut the slit, thread the end through, pull it snug on your finger and read the size. RingSizeChart draws the sizer in real millimetres, so the sizes match the US scale.

Print at 100% (actual size, not "fit to page"). Check the 60 mm bar with a ruler first. Lay a ring that fits on the circles: the right size is the circle whose outline sits just inside the ring's inner edge. Or cut out the strip, wrap it around your finger and read the size where the end meets.

Saved you some time? Leave a tip, entirely optional.

The circles show the inside diameter, so measure against the inner edge of the ring, not the outside.

How the sizes are defined

RingSizeChart converts every size to the inside circumference in millimetres and finds the nearest size in each system:

Sizes in different systems rarely line up exactly, and jewellers' charts differ by up to half a size. Fit also depends on band width, comfort-fit profiles and temperature. For an expensive ring, have your finger sized by a jeweller.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the printed ruler not match?

Your printer is scaling the page. Choose actual size or 100% in the print dialog and turn off fit to page.

Can I use the sizer on my phone screen?

Screens vary in pixel density, so on-screen sizes are not reliable. Print it, or measure a ring with a ruler.

Which circle do I pick if a ring is between two?

Pick the larger size.

Is RingSizeChart free?

Yes, with no sign-up or ads.

Is my size saved?

Yes, in this browser only.
